A Little Bit Of Background For You. I Am 25 -Soon To Be 26- Married For Almost 4 Years Now, Own 2 Terrier Mix Dogs, Oh Yea, And I Suffer From Mental Illness. I Went Through A Hellacious Childhood With An End Result Of 5 Years In The Foster Care System. When I Was 13 I Was Diagnosed With Schizoaffective Disorder, A Psychiatric Condition Where One Experiences Hallucinations And Or Delusions -Usually Going Hand And Hand With A Variable Level Of Paranoia- Known By Its Broadened Term Schizophrenia, Combined With A Mood Disorder Such As Bi-Polar, Or Manic-Depressive. Each Case Of Schizoeffective Disorder Is Unique As There Is No Set "Textbook" Case Of Symptoms. People With This Illness Have Different Personality Traits That Vary Greatly From One Another. Thus Making The Definition Unclear, And Understanding The Disorder In Its Entirety Very Difficult. I Have Gone Through So Much In Life, From Being Abused And Abandoned, To Having To Cope With Things That Others Can Not See, Nor Hear. Its Not Easy Being Schizoaffective. But Its Not Easy Being Married To Someone Who Is Either. My Wife Is A Strong Women. Yea, Shes Made Mistakes, Big Ones, But Who Hasn't? We All Either Have Done, Or Will Do Something We Will Regret, The Real Test Is Bouncing Back, Making Amends, And Never Making That Mistake Again. Like I Said, I Am A College Student Now, A Freshmen To Be Specific, And I Had Never Dreamed I Would Make It This Far! Without The Strength Of My Wife, And The Encouragement Of My Support System, I Would Never Have Even Made The Decision To Go Back To School, Much Less Actually Follow Through With My Application. I Owe All My Success To Them.
Well Its Getting Late, And I Have School Tomorrow (Friday, January 24th) So I Will Be Signing Off And Will Post More Tomorrow Sometime. Take Care For Now!
